In 2006, Bono and Bobby Shriver began paving a new way for the generation called AIDS-free generation. They founded (RED) with the simple mission, to make easy for people and businesses to join the fight against the deadly virus. (RED) critically work addresses the disparity in access to life-saving medication in the Sub-Saharan Africa, which has the highest prevalence of AIDS on the planet. The money raised by (RED) funds programs that offer counseling, testing, prevention and most crucially life-saving ARV medication that prevents the transmission of HIV from mothers to their unborn babies. This program has been life to save for many especially it prevents HIV transmission from mother to child during pregnancy.
The partnership with Apple and (RED):
Apple being the world's largest corporate contributor to the global fund, and this year marks its 10th anniversary of supporting (RED) in the fight to end AIDS. Apple had launched many RED products to support AIDS-free generation. RED iPhone 7 is not the first (RED) product of Apple. As it completed 10 years in partnership Apple had launched many products as (RED) which always helps to make an AIDS-free generation.
